Google forms and ways to use them
To use Google Forms……
- You will need to create a Google account to use Google Forms as this is how you will receive responses. Click here to access “how to create an account” instructions
- It will save time if prior to beginning a form you know exactly what information is required
- This is not a PrimarySite feature; this guidance may be subject to change at any time by Google
- Go to https://www.google.co.uk/forms/about/
- Access Personal forms
- There are templates to get you started or you can start from scratch by clicking on the blank form option.
- Give your form a name
- Begin to add your required information e.g. name, child’s name, contact information etc. The Google help area will help guide you through the options
- Once your form is as you would like it to be you need to embed it into your website – to do this follow the steps below
- Open your form in Google Forms.
- In the top right, click Send.
- At the top of the window, click Embed <>.
- To copy the HTML that appears, click Copy or press Ctrl + c (Windows) or ⌘ + c (Mac) on your keyboard.
- Paste the HTML into your website or blog.
- In your website you will need to do this via the source code within the text content block
